The estate at dawn, warm light over the olive groves and the snow-capped sierra

Our Story · Granada, Spain

La Piedra del Molino — the mill stone — was born in 2025 from a dream: to share our family’s best extra virgin olive oil.

Ten generations · One grove · One pressing a year

El Cortijo El Marqués is the land where our olive grove stands, cared for by our family for more than ten generations. Its landscape is shaped by olive trees, arable fields and a deep respect for nature and farming.

Every autumn, the harvest arrives as it always has: a family tradition. Days are long, everyone helps and a fresh olive aroma fills the air.

Some years ago, our father began setting aside a small selection of early-harvest olives from his favourite trees. From these, he produced an olive oil reserved for close family and friends. Quietly, it became a treasured gift.

With our family’s strong ties to Ireland, we began sharing it with Irish friends, too. What started as something personal soon revealed itself as something worth sharing more widely.

La Piedra del Molino is a tribute to the old mill stones used by our ancestors, always part of our landscape, a symbol of continuity and a reminder of the hands that worked them. Today, those same stones live in our home as quiet guardians of our family tradition and our belief in olive oil as a cornerstone of a healthy life.

This limited edition is our way of sharing a small part of this with you.

Guided by our values of honesty and integrity, we have chosen to have our olive oil independently analysed, so that what you read, see and taste reflects exactly what it is: nothing more, nothing less.

From our family to yours.

De nuestra familia a la tuya.
